“We have been receiving requirements from ecosystem with regard to NRI accounts and other permissible accounts having international numbers to be allowed to transact in UPI,” said the NPCI circular addressed to all members participating in UPI. “Member banks have to ensure that accounts are only allowed as per the FEMA regulations.”
