The Enforcement Directorate is conducting searches at premises linked to Viresh Joshi, former chief trader of Axis Mutual Fund, in a forex violation case. Joshi was dismissed in May 2022 after allegations of front-running and broker payments. The Income Tax department had previously attached Rs 57 crore of his fixed deposits.
